Submerged in a natural, protective brine solution, the cheese matures gently to develop a bright, complex saltiness with a refreshing milky finish. It is specially crafted to hold its shape perfectly when cubed, without turning mushy or losing its characteristic bite.
Pasteurized milk, food salt, bacterial starter culture of lactic acid microorganisms, microbial milk-clotting enzyme preparation, brine (water, salt). No vegetable fats (BZMZH). Contains milk and lactose. Packaged in a secure airtight tub with natural brine.
The FETAXA "Hard Cheese in Brine" (В рассоле) edition follows the time-honored tradition of Mediterranean cheese maturation. Storing the block directly in its own liquid brine preserves the firm, crystalline protein structures, ensuring the cheese develops that classic, sharp, rustic flavor profile prized by Feta connoisseurs.
Ready to eat. Drain the brine lightly before slicing. Cut into neat, rustic cubes to toss with olives and crisp vegetables for an authentic Greek salad, crumble generously over roasted Mediterranean vegetables, or slice into slabs to grill with olive oil and oregano. Store refrigerated between +2°C and +6°C. Once opened, keep submerged in its brine and consume within 5 days.
