How to Use:

Rinse the groats thoroughly with cold water. Combine 1 cup of buckwheat with 2 cups of water or broth in a saucepan. Add a pinch of salt, bring to a boil, then cover with a tight-fitting lid and simmer on low heat for 15–20 minutes until all liquid is fully absorbed. Remove from heat and let it steam covered for 5 minutes. Stir in a generous knob of butter or a splash of cold-pressed oil before serving. Excellent as a hearty side dish for meats, a base for warm grain bowls, or cooked with milk for a comforting breakfast porridge.
