DOVGAN Hinkali are large, hearty dumplings inspired by the culinary traditions of the Caucasus and Eastern Europe. This 500g pack features a robust filling of 38% minced meat (equal parts pork and beef) mixed with onions and spices, wrapped in a thick, pleated dough. Unlike standard dumplings, Hinkali are famous for the savory broth that forms inside during cooking, offering a succulent "soup dumpling" experience.

The DOVGAN "Taschki" Hinkali are designed to stand out with their distinctive "knob" shape and high meat content. The thick dough is intentional; it must be strong enough to hold the heavy meat filling and the precious juices within. Traditionally, these are eaten by hand: you hold the dumpling by the doughy top, take a small bite to sip the broth first, and then enjoy the rest (often leaving the thick dough knot on the plate).
Do not thaw. To prepare: Bring 3 liters of salted water to a boil. Carefully add the frozen Hinkali and return to a brief boil. Reduce heat to medium and simmer for approximately 14 minutes. Serve hot, traditionally seasoned only with a generous amount of freshly ground black pepper. They also pair excellently with a side of sour cream or a piquant tomato-based sauce. Store frozen at –18°C.
