It is formulated to be completely food-safe, so even if a small amount of dye penetrates the shell, it remains harmless for consumption. One vial is typically sufficient to dye up to 5-10 eggs depending on the desired intensity.
Boil white eggs and keep them warm. Mix the dye with 150ml of hot water and 1-2 tablespoons of 9% vinegar. Submerge the warm egg in the solution for 2–5 minutes until the desired shade is achieved. Dry on a paper towel. For extra shine, lightly rub the dyed egg with vegetable oil. Store in a cool, dry place.
